    Clinic Admission Rules

Dear Friends! Our veterinary hospital is dedicated to preventing illnesses in animals and providing effective treatment. We deliver high-quality, client-oriented services and strive to ensure comfortable conditions for every visitor and furry patient. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to the following clinic rules:

    • Appointments with veterinarians, diagnostics, and medical procedures are available only by prior arrangement. This ensures efficient scheduling, thorough attention to each patient's needs, and avoidance of waiting lines. Without prior appointment, we cannot guarantee availability of the required specialist.
    • All veterinary services, consumables, and medications incur charges. Payment must be made immediately after the appointment according to the price list, directly at the clinic, regardless of the outcome.
    • Minors bringing animals to the veterinary hospital must be accompanied by an adult family member. In emergencies, if an adult guardian cannot be reached, the patient will receive necessary initial medical assistance. Further treatment will only continue upon the arrival of the pet's adult guardian.
    • Information about the pet’s condition, ongoing treatment, and other patient details will only be shared with the legally documented guardian.
    • Post-operative patient information is provided solely by the surgeon or the attending veterinarian.
    • Inpatient treatment is provided only after prepayment. Discharge and return of the pet to the guardian occur only after full payment for the services rendered.
    • Animals requiring urgent care are attended to without waiting. As a result, appointment times for other patients may shift.
    • If the pet guardian is more than 10 minutes late, the veterinarian may see the patient later when a time slot becomes available, or another specialist may conduct the appointment.
    • A signed agreement is mandatory prior to anesthesia, surgery, or hospitalization.
    • Euthanasia is performed exclusively for medical reasons following examination. The veterinarian reserves the right to refuse to perform euthanasia.
    • Cats awaiting appointments must remain in carriers; toy breed dogs must be held, and medium to large dogs must be on a short leash. Aggressive dogs must wear a muzzle for the safety of others.
    • If your pet lacks socialization or is aggressive, please inform the administrator and veterinarian prior to the appointment.
    • The pet’s behavior, the safety of hospital personnel and visitors, and any property damage caused are the responsibility of the official pet guardian.
    • Only clinic personnel may restrain animals. If a pet is excessively aggressive, uncontrollable by the guardian, and cannot be safely restrained, the veterinarian may recommend sedation for examination.
    • Please remember: Collaborative effort ensures the health of your pet. Our quality medical service often depends on your cooperation, especially concerning interactions with your pet.
    • Guaranteeing your pet’s wellbeing involves not only timely veterinary visits but also strict adherence to veterinary advice and treatment plans.

    Right to Refuse Services

At Veterinary Hospital Animal Clinic International in Los Angeles, you can always expect a friendly attitude and humane treatment for your pet. However, service may be refused in cases where:

    • The guardian behaves aggressively or insults clinic personnel.
    • The guardian deliberately provides false health information about the pet.
    • The guardian does not comply with veterinary recommendations.
