At Veterinary Hospital Animal Clinic International, we have created an environment where pets feel not only comfortable, but also safe. Safety for us is not just about strict protocols — it is also about genuine care and respect for every animal entrusted to us.

    Facility Design and Cleanliness Standards

Our priority is simple: you should pick up your pet happy, healthy, and injury-free.

To support this, our daycare facility includes:

    • Non-slip flooring to prevent injuries during running and play
    • Non-toxic materials used throughout the space
    • No sharp edges or exposed structures
    • Hidden cables and utilities that curious pets might otherwise chew
    • Secure, reinforced doors to prevent accidental escapes

Dogs are housed separately from cats.

For cats, we provide a designated quiet area with individual spacious enclosures for rest and sleep.

We also maintain clearly separated zones for active play and relaxation to prevent overstimulation and ensure balanced energy levels throughout the day.

All floors and surfaces are cleaned and disinfected regularly according to veterinary sanitation standards.

How We Group Dogs for Safety and Comfort

To create a safe and positive daycare experience for every dog, we carefully structure playgroups based on key criteria:

    1. Temperament

Before joining group activities, dogs undergo a temperament assessment. During this evaluation, we simulate various scenarios — such as meeting another dog or hearing sudden noises — to understand how social, confident, sensitive, calm, or energetic the dog may be.

This allows us to match dogs appropriately and tailor activities to their behavioral profile.

    2. Size and Weight

Dogs are grouped by size and weight to:

    • Prevent accidental injuries
    • Reduce stress for smaller dogs
    • Avoid triggering prey drive behaviors in larger breeds
    • Maintain a psychologically comfortable environment

    3. Age

Puppies and young dogs typically enjoy high-energy play and movement.

Senior dogs often prefer slower-paced interaction, longer rest periods, and sometimes additional veterinary support.

We consider not only temperament, age, and physical condition — but also the owner’s preferences. This individualized approach helps maintain a balanced and respectful daycare atmosphere.

    Continuous Supervision and Behavioral Monitoring

Our trained team constantly monitors dog interactions to quickly recognize signs of stress, overstimulation, or emerging conflict.

Our staff is experienced in canine behavior and uses positive redirection techniques to:

    • Prevent escalation
    • Calm overstimulated dogs
    • Maintain safe group dynamics
    • Support healthy social development

Professional oversight, thoughtful space design, and genuine engagement from our team transform time away from home into a structured, enriching experience.
